The enrollment trigger fired when a contact’s lifecycle stage changed to SQL. From there, the workflow rotated the contact between the two reps we named, ensuring equal distribution. It then applied a 15-minute delay before creating a high priority task assigned to whoever owned the contact. Finally, it sent that rep an internal email notification letting them know a new SQL had just been assigned to them.
That’s a complete follow-up sequence. Trigger, rotate, delay, task, notify. Built from one sentence, reviewed in under a minute, live in two.
The logic was correct. The steps were sequenced properly. Nothing was missing.
AI gets this right most of the time, but not every time. And in HubSpot, a misconfigured workflow does not just fail quietly. It can misfires tasks to the wrong owners, route leads to people who shouldn’t receive them, or corrupt lifecycle stage data across contacts you’ve spent months building.

So before you click “Review and Turn On,” you QA every step. Check the enrollment trigger. Verify the rotation logic is pulling from the right rep list. Confirm the task is assigned to the contact owner dynamically, not hardcoded to one person. Read the notification email to make sure it says what you think it says.
The Breeze assistant shows you the plan before it builds, which is a useful checkpoint. But that plan is not a substitute for you reviewing the actual workflow after it’s built.
